Weathertex aluminium Z flashing: the horizontal flashing Weathertex specifies for sheet joins, window heads and the base of cladding, diverting face moisture away from the wall. Small for general horizontal joins between sheets; Large where extra face clearance is needed, such as between storeys and at openings.

Sizes: Small 3.67 m for standard horizontal sheet joins; Large 3.66 m for openings and inter-storey joins
Material: anodised aluminium (Weathertex)
Weathertex’s rule: every horizontal join must be flashed and supported by a double or rotated nogging at least 70 mm wide, flush with the frame; fit the flashing before fastening the top edge of the lower panel
Use with: Weathergroove panels and the primed hardboard sheet
