Thermory Pine Trax C90 Cladding 140 x 32mm is thermally modified timber cladding. The boards are treated with heat and steam rather than chemicals, which changes the timber’s cell structure so it absorbs far less moisture. The result is a board that moves very little and resists decay, with no preservative chemistry in it.
How it weathers
Left uncoated it will silver off to a natural grey. Coated, it holds its tone for longer. Either is a legitimate choice — it is worth deciding before installation, because the first coat is far easier at ground level.
