James Hardie 9mm Aluminium Base Trim 3000mm is a system component for cladding installation. Trims, flashings and jointing pieces are what make a cladding wall actually weatherproof — the boards shed water, but the junctions are where it gets in.
Why use the matched component
Manufacturers warrant the system, not the board on its own. Substituting a generic trim can void the warranty and is the usual cause of failures at corners, window heads and base courses.
