240 x 45mm MGP10 untreated radiata pine — the standard structural framing timber for internal walls, floors and roofs. MGP10 is a machine graded pine: every length is tested for stiffness rather than visually assessed, so it performs to published span values instead of being judged by eye.

Untreated, so where can it go

This is untreated timber, which means it belongs inside — internal wall frames, floor joists, ceiling joists and roof framing, all kept dry and protected from weather. Anything exposed, in ground contact, or in a wet area needs treated pine (H2 or H3) instead. If in doubt, ask us before you order rather than after it is fixed.
