The boards are wood-plastic composite, prefinished at the factory, so what you fix to the wall is the finished surface — no painting, sealing or oiling on site, and no recoat in three years. Paveezzi Ressisto
A solid core behind a waterproof outer shell. Ressisto 160 Castellated for a bolder profile, and Ressisto 144 FineLine for a narrower, more even line across a large wall.
Picking a profile
Castellated boards throw a deep shadow and read strongly from the street, which suits a feature wall or an entry. Fineline and shadowline profiles read more evenly and sit better across a whole elevation. Both need the right batten spacing and fixings behind them — see cladding accessories for the trims, clips and cavity battens. If you would rather have real timber and accept the maintenance, external timber cladding is the other side of this decision.
