Greenhill Timbers stocks the CUTEK timber protection range at our yard at 170 Settlement Road, Thomastown, with pickup or delivery across Melbourne and regional Victoria. We carry CUTEK EXTREME CD50 in 1 L, 5 L and 10 L, CUTEK Colourtones in a range of colours, and CUTEK’s cleaning and preparation products.

CUTEK EXTREME CD50

An oil-based wood stabiliser that penetrates into the timber instead of forming a film on top, so it won’t flake or peel, and maintenance coats go straight on without sanding or stripping. CD50 is sold clear. Left untinted, timber weathers to a silver-grey patina; mix in a Colourtone to hold a colour.

CUTEK Colourtones

180 ml tints mixed into CD50 to set the finished colour. Colours we stock include Autumntone, Black Ash, Burnt Ash, Burnt Red, Cedar, Chestnut, Goldtone, Grey Mist, Honeycomb, Light Oak, Merbau, New Bronzetone, Rustic Gold, Sela Brown, Smokey Grey, Walnut and White Wash.

Cleaning and preparation

CUTEK Wood Stripper (formerly CD33) removes old paint, stain, varnish and oil. CUTEK Restore (formerly Proclean) brings grey, stained or weathered timber back to its original colour and removes mill glaze from new timber. CUTEK Quickclean is the routine clean before a maintenance coat. All three come in 2.5 L, 5 L and 10 L.
