Sceney’s Tung Oil is pure tung oil, a traditional nut oil that dries harder and glossier than seed oils. Nothing is blended in: no urethane, estapol or resin.

Product Description

Tung oil is a traditional drying oil pressed from the nut of the tung tree. It cures harder and with more gloss than seed-based oils, which is why it remains the preferred finish for surfaces that get handled and worn — timber flooring, benchtops, joinery and furniture.

It builds up over multiple thin coats into a finish that can be spot-repaired rather than stripped back entirely. Available from our Thomastown yard in 1L, 4L and 20L.
