Australian Species
Australian species engineered flooring
Engineered boards with a wear layer of Australian hardwood instead of European oak: the look of a local timber floor in a board that stays flat on a concrete slab. Supplied from Greenhill Timbers, 170 Settlement Road, Thomastown, with delivery across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Species
Tasmanian Oak from The Eucalypt Collection: 1820 × 135 mm boards, 14 mm thick with a 3 mm wear layer, a satin finish and a square (no bevel) edge. Sydney Blue Gum for mid to deep red-brown tones. Blackbutt and Rustic Blackbutt for pale honey colour, the Rustic grade showing more knots and gum vein.
Solid or engineered?
Engineered boards suit slabs, apartments and wide rooms where a solid board would move. If you have joists or battens and want a floor that can be sanded many times, the same species come as 19 mm boards in solid timber flooring. Every Blackbutt floor type is collected under Blackbutt flooring and every Spotted Gum option under Spotted Gum flooring. Call 03 9465 9875 for pricing and availability.
