Bevel Skirting FJ Pine Primed in 42, 66, 92 and 138 × 18 mm and in 42 and 66 × 11 mm, from $17.28 a length. Finger-jointed pine stays straight, the primer is ready for a top coat, and the bevel profile suits both period and modern rooms. Other profiles can be ordered.
Fitting it
Fix skirting after the floor is down, with construction adhesive and a few brad nails into the studs, and leave a few millimetres over the floor so the boards can move. Mitre external corners and scribe internal ones. Fill nail holes, sand lightly and apply two top coats.
