A Light, Easy Option That’s Still Built to Perform
The boards come in at 1900mm long by 190mm wide, and the full 15mm thickness includes a solid 4mm layer of oak on top, plenty to allow for a light sand down the track if it ever needs it. That’s something a lot of thinner veneers can’t offer.
White Sands sits in that pale, neutral zone, not too white, not yellow. It tends to pick up the tones around it, which makes it easy to use in homes with mixed finishes or lighter cabinetry. The brushed surface gives it just enough texture to avoid feeling flat, and the matte topcoat means you won’t get harsh reflections from windows or skylights.
The boards are tongue and groove with a micro-bevel edge, so you get a bit of definition between planks without it looking broken up. Most installers find this format pretty straightforward.
