EVERTEX Pioneer PVC Decking

EVERTEX Pioneer is the lighter, lower-cost board in the EVERTEX range: a 140 × 24 mm PVC deck board, 5.4 m long, with a scalloped underside and double ASA capping on three sides. It comes in Silver Grey and White Wash Oak with a 25-year warranty.

• Boards: grooved board and edge board, both 140 × 24 mm × 5.4 m, and a 200 × 12.5 mm × 5.4 m fascia board
• Price: per 5.4 m board; choose the board and colour to see it
• Colours: Silver Grey and White Wash Oak
• Material: lightweight foamed PVC core with double ASA capping on the top and both edges; no wood fibre, so it resists rot and termites
• Why it is lighter: the underside is scalloped, which takes weight out of the board and lets air move beneath it, so it is easier to carry and cut on site
• Maintenance: no sanding, oiling or staining
• Fixing: compatible with the EVERTEX concealed fixing system
• Warranty: 25-year EVERTEX product warranty
• Also from EVERTEX: Essence, the solid-core board in eight colours, tested to BAL-29 and VIVID, the printed-woodgrain board
• At Greenhill: order through Greenhill Timbers, 170 Settlement Road, Thomastown, for pickup or delivery across Melbourne and regional Victoria. See all our composite decking.

Pioneer is the practical board in the EVERTEX range, made for everyday residential decks where easy handling and value matter more than a long colour list. It is full PVC, with no wood fibre in the core.

How it differs from Essence

Essence has a solid core and is capped on every face. Pioneer has a lighter foamed core with a scalloped underside, and its double ASA capping covers the top and both edges, the faces that see sun and weather. The board size is the same.

Boards in the range

Grooved board, 140 × 24 mm, for concealed fixings. Edge board, 140 × 24 mm, for the outside run and steps. Fascia board, 200 × 12.5 mm, to cover the sides of the frame. All are 5.4 m long, in both colours.
