Stockholm Tar has been used in shipbuilding for hundreds of years to keep timber alive in conditions that would destroy an ordinary finish — decks, hulls, gunnels, rigging and rope sitting permanently wet.

That same resistance to rot and decay in high-moisture conditions makes it useful well beyond boats: exposed structural timber, traditional joinery restoration, and heritage work where a modern synthetic coating would be out of character. Stocked at Thomastown in 1L, 4L, 10L and 20L.
