50 Years Limited Warranty on Koppers(TM) MicroPro Wood Treatment Technology against rot & insect attack.
Introducing LOWDECK®
Australia’s first GL8 structural engineered bearer and joist system treated to H4 for on-ground use — finally, a timber subfloor solution built specifically for ultra-low decks.
Why Choose LOWDECK®?
-
Compliant & Durable: Framing timbers installed on or below 150mm from ground level must be termite resistant and treated to H4 or higher, as recommended by Forest & Wood Products Australia’s Domestic Timber Deck Design Guide.
-
Engineered Strength: GL8 structural grade (comparable to F7) ensures consistent strength and reliability.
-
Long-Term Protection: Treated with Koppers Micro® Timber Treatment Technology for superior defence against fungal decay, termites, and insect attack — backed by a 50-year treatment warranty.
-
Extra Sealed Protection: Double-coated with a premium oil-based primer for added moisture resistance.
-
Smart, Affordable Alternative: Easier to work with than steel or aluminium, and a superior upgrade from standard H3 treated pine joists.
