Sold per picket, in stock at 170 Settlement Road, Thomastown, with pickup or delivery across Melbourne.

These are dressed white cypress pickets (Callitris glaucophylla), 68 mm wide and 19 mm thick, in the Flat Top profile: a square-cut top for a clean, modern picket fence or one that takes a capping rail. Cypress is the traditional Victorian picket timber because it resists termites without treatment, holds paint well and weathers to silver-grey if left bare.

Lengths: 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1 and 2.4 m, priced per picket.

How many pickets: allow about 8 per metre of fence with a 50 mm gap, or 7 per metre with a picket-width gap.
