QLD Spotted Gum is a fast-growing species grown on the Queensland coast. Spotted Gum trees can grow up to 45m and 1.3m in diameter!

The tree possesses a straight, slender trunk with smooth bark. As the bark sheds off in patches, the Spotted Gum is presented with a unique spotted appearance.

The timber is admired for its unique light to dark chocolate brown tones with a slight orange hue. Gum veins are quite common and the presence of a wavy grain can produce an attractive fiddle-back figure.
